Another year...

older... oh well...  creeping on to the next milestone, so kind of not looking forward to it.  Today I celebrate my 'thirty-something' birthday (still a couple years til that milestone).  You know what's funny, until recently, my kids did not know how old I was - which was the way I wanted it.  Whenever someone asked them how old I was, they would say 'she's thirty-something' just like it's another number.  Then after their daddy's birthday (earlier this month), somehow my age came out... darn it!!  But with friends who already hit the big-4-0, they haven't made it sound so terrible.  Actually we had a lot of fun at my girfriend's 40th celebration!!  Tonight we celebrated my birthday at our favorite buffet up the road.  It was a very nice dinner with family and friends!!  Ok, no more age talk...

Yesterday, I received a package in the mail!  I love packages/boxes with my name on it...  Even my MK orders that come in are so fun to open...  Woo-hoo, this one was from Christy Tomlinson, who is a contributing editor and designer for Scrapbooks Etc and does work for Making Memories. I just love her style - see her blog.  A few weeks ago, Christy was giving away a RAK on her blog - we had to guess what her surprise news was.  No one guessed it correctly - including me, but she was nice enough to still give away some scrapbooking goodies!!!  To see her surprise go here!  And here are my goodies she sent me - I love the paper and the rub-ons Thank you Christy!

Recollections is having an extra discount on their Clearance items and I found some goodies there this past weekend.  Thanks Honey for taking me there this past weekend for my birthday!!  And for all the gift cards to my favorite places (like Starbucks)!  And cross your fingers for me, I received many lotto tix I still need to scratch off...
